New in Obra Autodocs: Portable Docs, Propstar Migration & Navigation

We just published a new demo showcasing three features that landed in Obra Autodocs recently: portable component docs, Propstar migration, and a navigator for complex component sets.

Portable component docs

You can now generate documentation that is separated from your master component. This means the docs live as standalone frames — your source component stays untouched. On top of that, the plugin can expose the component title, description, and documentation URL directly in the generated docs, making key component info portable across files.

Migrate from Propstar

Switching from Propstar? Obra Autodocs now scans your file for all Propstar instances and lets you migrate them in a single action. No manual cleanup needed — just run the migration and you're up and running with Autodocs.

Navigate complex component sets

Large component sets can be hard to work with. The new Navigate tab lets you navigate complex component sets and specify your selection without scrolling through dozens of variants. Edit components without having to regenerate docs every time.
